Joy Torain

Joy Torain has extensive experience in the nursing field, currently serving as an Ambulatory Care Nurse at Piedmont Stone Center, PLLC since April 2021. Joy has also been an Adjunct Instructor at Winston-Salem State University and Forsyth Technical Community College since August 2019 and June 2018, respectively. Previous roles include Registered Nurse positions at Novant Health and Parallon, along with a Case Manager role at Wake Forest Baptist Health. Joy's nursing career began as a Nursing Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2004. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Nursing Education from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Registered Nursing, with an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Registered Nursing from Piedmont Community College. Currently, Joy is pursuing further education at Walden University.
