Jordan Volz

Jordan Volz has a strong background in finance and entrepreneurship. Starting in 2010, they worked at Fidelity Investments as a Team Lead and Senior Financial Specialist, where they provided assistance to high net worth clients and supervised trading activities. From 2015 to 2017, they served as a Valuations Associate at Grant Thornton LLP. Jordan then joined Union Bank in 2017 as an Assistant Vice President in the Finance department, focusing on community development finance. In this role, they performed due diligence, analyzed investments, and assisted in forecasting. Jordan's next career move was joining Scalar in 2018 as a Vice President, providing business valuations for financial reporting and strategic purposes. Jordan worked with tech unicorns and helped companies through successful IPOs and financing rounds. In 2021, Jordan co-founded two ventures: pieFi and Upside Cooperative, where they serve as the CEO and Co-Founder, respectively. Additionally, in 2022, they became an Executive Committee Member of the Utah Blockchain Coalition.

Jordan Volz completed their education in a chronological order. Jordan started by earning an Associate's degree in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from Latter-day Saints Business College in 2008, which they obtained in 2010. During the same period, they also studied at Ensign College where they earned an Associate's degree in Accounting. Jordan then pursued their Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business from 2012 to 2014. Subsequently, they obtained a Master's degree in Accounting from the same institution in 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Jordan Volz has also obtained several certifications. Jordan became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) through the California Board of Accountancy in June 2018. Jordan obtained the Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) certification from the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA) in November 2018. Most recently, in August 2020, they acquired the Master Analyst in Financial Forensics (MAFF) certification from the NACVA.
