Alison Eckes

Alison Eckes is an experienced library professional currently serving as the Customer Experience Director for Programs and Services at Pierce County Library System since December 2021, having previously held the role of Customer Experience Manager in Public Operations. Prior to this, Alison worked at King County Library System from May 2014 to December 2021, where roles included Information Services Manager and various librarian positions focusing on children's and teen services. Earlier career experience includes serving as Youth Services Manager at Pauline Haass Public Library and Children's Services Librarian at Fond du Lac Public Library. Alison Eckes holds a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a Spanish minor from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
