Mary Hill

Mary Hill is a seasoned accounting professional with over two decades of experience at Pierce Transit, currently serving as a Senior Accountant since January 2000. Responsibilities include compiling the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR), ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards, and managing grant expenditures. Mary has played a key role in selecting and implementing new financial systems and software, while also leading training efforts for staff. Previous positions include Accountant I, where focus was on developing and monitoring accounting policies, and Account Clerk, responsible for analyzing sales data and assisting with software implementations. Mary holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Western Governors University and an Associate degree in Business from Pierce College.
