Ghanasham Lavand

Ghanasham Lavand has a diverse range of work experience spanning over 18 years. Ghanasham is currently working at Velsera as a Sr Software Architect, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to that, they held the same role at PierianDx, which was later acquired by Velsera.

From 2017 to 2021, Ghanasham worked at Biz4Group LLC as a Technical Director. Ghanasham played a crucial role in building the next generation IoT cloud platform Biz4Intellia, leading the architecture design and development from scratch. The platform is multi-tenant and fully configurable, supporting use cases from various domains such as transportation, oil and gas, and the food industry.

Before their time at Biz4Group LLC, Ghanasham was the co-founder of Lecapro, a product recommendation system targeting non-technical users. Ghanasham'srole involved developing and designing the system, which helped users find the most suitable products based on their intended use, simplifying the product selection process.

Prior to their ventures in the startup world, Ghanasham gained extensive experience working as a Senior Software Engineer Consultant at Walmart eCommerce (WalmartLabs), HP, and Morgan Stanley. Ghanasham also started their career as a Software Engineer at C-DAC (Formerly NCST) in 2005.

Ghanasham Lavand pursued their education at Savitribai Phule Pune University. From 2000 to 2004, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science. Later, from 2006 to 2009, they pursued a Master in Business Studies, specializing in Computer Management, at the same university.
