Mika Kaarto has extensive experience in various marketing and leadership roles. Starting in 1998, they worked as a Brand Manager for Coca-Cola Finland. Mika then moved on to become the Senior Marketing Development Manager for the Cola-group at Coca-Cola Finland, where they had full volume and P/L responsibility for brands such as Coke and Coke light. From 2004 to 2005, they served as the Nordic Marketing Manager at Coca-Cola Nordic Services, overseeing the Sprite and Coke portfolio in the Nordic markets. Following that, they held several positions at Nokia, including Marketing Manager for Nokia Europe and Senior Marketing Manager for Nokia Global Experience Marketing. In 2009, they joined Kraft Foods Finland as Head of Marketing and later became the Marketing Director. In 2016, they became the CEO of Pierre Robert Group and eventually took on the position of CEO at Orkla Care Oy & Pierre Robert Oy in 2018. In these roles, they have been responsible for leading organizations, developing brands, and securing profitable growth.
Mika Kaarto has a strong educational background in the field of Marketing. Mika obtained their Masters degree from Aalto University, where they studied from 1993 to 1998. Additionally, they attended Aston University for a period of one year, from 1995 to 1996, to further enhance their knowledge in Marketing.
In terms of additional certifications, Mika Kaarto has achieved the "Hyväksytty Hallituksen Jäsen (HHJ)" certification from Tampereen kauppakamari in May 2021. This certification validates their skills and competence as a board member. Furthermore, Mika completed the "Core Program for Management" from Orkla Digital Academy in November 2019, which further strengthened their management abilities.
