Kapil Gowru

Kapil Gowru has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles and companies. Kapil is currently working as the Head of Design at Pietra since March 2023. Prior to this, they were the Head of Product Design at Therefore from April 2020 to November 2022, where they played a significant role in building and developing products to aid job seekers. Beside this, they were also a part of the founding team at Slync.io from January 2018 to April 2020, serving as the Head of Design. Here, they were responsible for designing the original system, branding, websites, marketing material, and apps.

Before joining Slync.io, Kapil worked at Salesforce, where they held multiple roles. Kapil was a Solutions Architect - IoT Cloud from April 2017 to January 2018. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Engineer - Sales Cloud from July 2015 to April 2017, where they made significant contributions in developing the month view for the Calendar app and integrating RelateIQ to view analytics on ingested communications. Kapil also developed the first-ever Salesforce app for AppleTV, contributing to the React-Native open-source repo for tvOS. Additionally, they worked as a Software Engineering Intern - Sales Cloud from May 2014 to July 2015.

Kapil also gained work experience at Dell as a Senior Intern Analyst from May 2013 to August 2013. Kapil started their professional journey as a Software Contractor at Hoovers Inc. from June 2011 to August 2011.

Kapil Gowru obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, completing their studies from 2011 to 2015.
