Brett Phillips has over 35 years of experience in the construction and building regulatory fields, currently serving as a Construction Plans Examiner at Pikes Peak Regional Building Department since August 2005. In this role, Brett is involved in assessing construction plans and providing assistance to architects, engineers, contractors, and homeowners regarding permits and building codes. Previous positions include serving as a Senior Permit Technician, Lead Paint Inspector/Risk Assessor, and Contractor Licensing Specialist at the same organization. Prior to this, Brett held the position of Vice President of Operations at M & J Concrete Construction, Inc., where services for residential, commercial, and agricultural concrete were expanded. Brett holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
