Konark Gaur

Konark Gaur has extensive work experience in marketing and business development roles. Konark is currently the Chief Marketing & Commercial Officer at Pilgrim since December 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Business Head - New Foods at Marico Limited from June 2021 to November 2022. From May 2019 to May 2021, Konark held the position of Chief Marketing Officer at Sebamed India. Konark also worked at General Mills as the Regional Marketing Manager Asia – Snacks from March 2017 to April 2019 and as the Category Head India – Snacks from May 2016 to February 2017. Before that, Konark was the Founder & CEO at hijinny.com from May 2015 to April 2016. Konark played a key role in building Jazz Up Salon into a leading professional salon chain as the Co-Founder from January 2012 to April 2015. Additionally, Konark gained valuable experience at Nestlé, where they held multiple roles including Senior Brand Manager, Brand Manager, and Area Sales Manager from 2004 to 2012. Konark started their career as a Software Consultant at TCS from November 1999 to April 2002, providing end-to-end software solutions for various industries.

Konark Gaur completed their education in a chronological order. From 1995 to 1999, they attended the National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra and obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Following that, from 2002 to 2004, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Marketing at the SPJIMR SP Jain Institute of Management & Research. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In 2018 and 2019, they completed courses such as "Ken Blanchard on Servant Leadership," "Developing Executive Presence," "Transitioning from Manager to Leader," "Executive Decision Making," "The Complete Digital Marketing Course," and "Leadership Foundations" from institutions like LinkedIn and Udemy.
