Sean Polvino

Sean Polvino has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Sean began their career as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia University in 2011. In the same year, they also joined IBM as a Unit Process Engineer, where they worked until 2015. Following this, they worked at GLOBALFOUNDRIES as a Unit Process Engineer for a brief period in 2015.

In 2016, Sean Polvino joined Pillar Biosciences Incorporated, where they have held various positions over the years. Sean started as a Bioinformatics Data Scientist in 2016 and transitioned to a Senior Data Scientist, Manager role in 2017. Sean continued to advance within the company, becoming a Staff Data Scientist, Manager in 2019 and then a Staff Data Scientist, Senior Manager in 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Staff Data Scientist, Associate Director.
