Scott Splavec has over 20 years of work experience in the field of software engineering and development. Scott started their career in 1991 at Hill Arts and Entertainment, where they worked as a Software Engineer, focusing on maintaining and enhancing ticketing application modules. In 1995, they joined Kirke-Van Orsdel Inc. as a Business Analyst. From 1998 to 2003, they worked as a Software Engineer at ABC Virtual Communications, Inc., where they gained experience in contract programming for clients such as Principal Financial Group, Mid-American Energy, and ING Insurance, and was a lead engineer for the EC LoanPro mortgage origination software application. In 2003, Scott worked as a Software Engineer for Praxis Technology Group, as a contract programmer for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage on the eMortgage Factory project. Scott then joined Meredith Corporation in 2004, working as a Sr. Software Engineer until 2007. In 2007, they worked as a Computer Software Consultant. From 2008 to 2011, Scott worked as a Sr. Software Engineer at SumTotal Systems. Scott then joined Robert Half Technology in 2011 as a Sr Software Engineer. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Java Developer at TEKsystems. Currently, they are employed at Pillar Technology since September 2015, working as a Software Journeyman.
Scott Splavec attended Drake University from 1981 to 1985 where they earned their BSBA degree in Computer Information Systems. Scott then pursued further education at California State University - East Bay, completing their MBA in Business Administration from 1990 to 1995.
