Astrid Waterstraat

Astrid Waterstraat has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Astrid currently works as the Director Media Specialists at pilot Agenturgruppe, a position they have held since January 2020. In addition, they are part of the nextMedia.Hamburg Advisory Board since July 2023. Prior to their current roles, Astrid held the position of Director Media Planning at Local Planet since 2020. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as the Director Business Solutions at TwentyFive. Communications GmbH & Co. KG.

Before that, Astrid had various roles at pilot-group, including Director Media Consulting from 2016 to 2017, Team Lead Media Consulting from 2013 to 2016, Senior Media Consultant from 2012 to 2013, and Online Marketing Consultant from 2011 to 2012.

Their earlier work experience includes roles at OMD Germany, where they worked as an Online Media Planning Consultant from 2009 to 2011, and as a Media Planning Trainee from 2008 to 2009. Astrid also had a student internship as a Student Intern Global Corporate Media at Beiersdorf in 2007.

Astrid began their career as a Student Assistant at Fachhochschule Osnabrück from 2005 to 2007. Astrid also had an internship in communications at Stocker Group in 2006 and a journalism internship at Tip Verlag GmbH & Co. KG in 2005.

Astrid Waterstraat's education history begins in 1999 when they completed an apprenticeship as a qualified bank clerk at Sparkasse Nordfriesland. Astrid then pursued higher education at Hochschule Osnabrück from 2004 to 2008, earning a diploma in Management of Communications. In 2017 and 2018, Astrid obtained a degree in Systemic Change Consulting and Organizational Development from Alwart + Team / Susanne Alwart.

Astrid has also obtained various certifications throughout their career. In 2018, they became certified in Cross-Cultural Marketing from Hofstede Insights. Astrid later received the certification of Systemic Change Consultant / Organizational Development Consultant from Alwart Team in February 2018. In 2019, Astrid completed a 300-hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training Course at Trimurti Yoga School in Goa, India. Astrid also received a certification in "Beyond Brockhaus Thinking: With Design Thinking to a Network Culture" from the Hasso Plattner Institute in June 2019.

In 2022, Astrid is planning to pursue Integrale Business Coaching at Coaching Center Berlin.
