John began their career in 2014 as a Graduate Air Quality Consultant at Resource and Environmental Consultants Ltd, where they provided technical and professional consultation services to assist in planning applications for small to medium scale developments. In 2015, they joined WSP in the UK as an Air Quality Consultant, where they produced air quality assessments using dispersion modelling software and infield monitoring data. In 2018, they began working at Northcoders as a Trainee Full Stack Developer, where they completed the Developer Pathway, predominantly in Javascript, HTML and CSS. John also worked in an agile environment with emphasis on test driven development and pair programming. In 2019, John H. joined Pimberly as a Software Developer.

John H. has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from The Manchester Metropolitan University, which they earned from 2010 to 2014. Prior to this, they obtained a Foundation degree in Network Computing from the University of Sunderland, which they earned from 2007 to 2009.
