Markus Koch

Markus Koch currently serves as Manager I European Debt Origination at PIMCO Prime Real Estate, focusing on the origination, structuring, execution, and underwriting of commercial real estate senior financings across Europe since January 2019. Prior to this role, Markus held various positions at PIMCO, including Associate I Real Estate Debt Structuring and Manager I Investment Planning & Controlling, where responsibilities included active management of Allianz investment structures and overseeing investment life-cycles. Markus's previous experience includes a consulting role at PwC, advising on transitions to new accounting standards for a global investment bank, and a part-time role at BayernLB, where responsibilities involved structuring Export Finance transactions and engaging with stakeholders. Markus holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and completed a semester abroad in International Management and Finance at Cal State Fullerton.
