Philipp Sauter has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Philipp started their career as an intern at Mülle-Weingarten AG in 2001 and then went on to work as an intern at ZF Friedrichshafen and Bosch and Siemens Home Appliances Group. In 2004, they interned at Siemens before joining BearingPoint as a Consultant in 2005. Philipp also worked as a Diploma Student at BearingPoint for a brief period in the same year. From 2008 to 2010, Philipp served as an Assistant Manager at KPMG. In 2010, they joined Allianz SE as a Senior Analytic Reporting Specialist and later took on roles such as Strategieprojekt Digitalisierung and Robotics in Finance. Since 2017, Philipp has been working at PIMCO Prime Real Estate, where they started as a Senior Manager Finance Transformation and currently holds the position of Team Head Strategy & Transformation.
Philipp Sauter completed an Executive MBA program from the TUM School of Management, HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management, and Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. Philipp pursued this degree in the field of study of Innovation and Business Creation, which lasted from 2012 to 2013.
Prior to their MBA, Philipp Sauter attended Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences from 2000 to 2005. Philipp obtained a degree in Wirtschaftsingenieur, with a focus on Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen.
During their undergraduate studies, they had the opportunity to study abroad at Universidad de Navarra from 2003 to 2004. This one-year program allowed him to gain knowledge in the field of Corporate Governance and Controlling.
