Fei Sun

Fei Sun is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager at PIMCO, leading alternative credit strategies in the APAC region since February 2023. Prior to PIMCO, Fei held positions as an Investment Professional at Sculptor Capital Management, focusing on distressed credit and special situations, and as Vice President at HPS Investment Partners, specializing in opportunistic public credit investments. Earlier career roles included serving as an Associate at Värde Partners, where expertise was developed in structured products related to the mortgage and housing sectors, as well as positions in investment banking at Piper Jaffray and Wells Fargo. Fei holds an MBA from The Wharton School and dual undergraduate degrees in Mathematics and Finance from the University of Minnesota.
