Kailash Patil

Kailash Patil is the Director of Research at Pindrop, with an extensive background in speech and audio processing. Since joining Pindrop in October 2013, Kailash has held various positions including Research Manager for the Americas and Lead Research Engineer. Prior experience includes earning a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, where research focused on deriving Spectro-Temporal Receptive Field contours for speech recognition. While at Johns Hopkins, Kailash also served as a Teaching Assistant for courses on speech processing and signals. Additional research roles were undertaken at esteemed workshops and institutes, with foundational studies completed at the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati.
