Shanmuga (Sam) Ponnusamy

Shanmuga (Sam) Ponnusamy is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in solutions architecture and systems design. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Solutions Architect at Pindrop since January 2016, Shanmuga has previously held roles as a Principal Solutions Architect and Sr. Solutions Architect within the same company. Prior to Pindrop, Shanmuga worked at The Nielsen Company as a Systems Architect from August 2010 to December 2015 and served as a Sr IVR Analyst - Consultant at Verizon Wireless for a brief period in 2010, focusing on IVR migration from TDM to VoIP. Shanmuga's career began at Nortel, where a tenure from January 2001 to February 2010 involved leading the Signaling (SS7, SIP) team for the award-winning Media Processing Server. Earlier experience includes a role as a Sr. Software Developer at Pamtel from June 1999 to December 2000. Shanmuga holds a B.E. in Computer Science from Bharathiar University.
