Rick Hayes

Richard “Rick” Hayes is the Director of Operations. He has been an integral part of Pine Castle since 2014 working as the Chief Engineer. He briefly retired for a period of one year and then returned to Pine Castle part-time as the maintenance superintendent. In 2022, Rick was promoted to the Director of Operations overseeing all maintenance, the group homes, contractors, vendors, vehicles and the new crews established with curriculum that started in August 2022.

Rick is a native of Jacksonville. He previously worked in the fields of janitorial and landscaping and management. Rick’s experience includes retirement communities and country clubs.
