Sher Downing

Sher Downing, Ph.D., is an accomplished educator and consultant with over two decades of experience as the CEO and EdTech Strategist at Downing EdTech Consulting since January 2000. As the host of the EdTech Speaks Podcast, Downing engages with various industry leaders and entrepreneurs, exploring the intersection of business and education in the digital age. Contributions to several advisory boards, including Pineapple Academy and Edtera, Inc., alongside roles as Innovation Mentor at StartEd Mentor Network and Dissertation Chair at City University of Seattle, reflect Downing's commitment to advancing educational technology and instructional design. Downing holds a Ph.D. in Education/Instructional Design for Online Learning from Capella University, a Master of Legal Studies from Arizona State University, and a Master of Education from Capella University, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree from Western Illinois University.
