Shubha Dasgupta has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Shubha started their career as an Account Manager at Transport Trends Inc./ Van Line in 1999 and held this position until 2005. Shubha then worked as a Counselor at Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology for a brief period in 2008. Later that year, they became a Mortgage Broker at The Mortgage Centre, where they specialized in arranging Residential and Commercial mortgages for various purposes.
In 2011, Shubha volunteered as a Fundraising Co-Chair for Relay for Life at the Canadian Cancer Society. Relay for Life is a significant event aimed at raising funds to fight cancer. Their involvement with the Canadian Cancer Society lasted until 2013.
In 2012, Shubha joined Dominion Lending Centres Inc as a Mortgage Broker. Shubha focused on Residential and Commercial mortgage financing, providing expertise to clients in various financial situations. Shubha stayed with Dominion Lending Centres Inc until 2016.
Since 2016, Shubha has been serving as the President and CEO of Pineapple. At Pineapple, their goal is to support mortgage brokerages, brokers, and agents by providing them with the necessary tools, support, and systems to enhance the customer experience.
Shubha Dasgupta attended Agincourt C.I. from 1992 to 1997, where they did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. In 2007, they enrolled at Seneca College, completing a degree in Financial Services Underwriting with a focus on finance in 2008. During the same year, they also pursued further education in Real Estate Finance, obtaining a Mortgage Lending for Residential Housing degree from the Real Estate Institute of Canada and a Commercial Mortgage Lending degree from The Institute of Canadian Bankers STI. Additionally, in 2008, Shubha attended The University of British Columbia, though their specific degree is unknown.
