Miriam Torres

Miriam Torres has extensive experience in housing and credit sectors, currently serving as the Interim HCV Director for Pinellas County Housing Authority since January 2008. Previously, Miriam held roles such as HCV and Compliance Manager and Housing Advisor III, managing a caseload of approximately 778 clients focused on fixed income and elderly disabled individuals. Prior to this, Miriam worked as a Credit Representative at Xerox Capital Service LLC for 15 years, handling account profiles, billing, credit, and collections. Early career experience includes working as a postal clerk at the United States Postal Service. Educational qualifications include a degree in Mechanical Drafting from St. Petersburg College and studies at Norwalk State Technical College and J. M. Wright Tech High School.
