Monica Dean, Esq., SHRM-SCP, CAFCA (ACAMS) has worked in a variety of roles in the legal and compliance fields since 2005. In 2005, they began their career as a Law Clerk at the Arizona Attorney General's Office. Monica then worked as a Summer Legal Intern at Wells Fargo in 2006 and as a Licensed Real Estate Agent at Real Estate Companies in 2006. In 2007, they began working as a Mortgage Loan Officer at Citi. From 2008 to 2018, they worked as an Attorney for companies ranging from Startups to Fortune 50 companies at Law Firms including a large international law firm (AM 100). In 2018, they began working as General Counsel (Head of Legal & Compliance) & Interim HR Director at Strategic Acquisitions, Inc. & Multiple Startups. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as Chief Counsel & Compliance Officer - North, Central & South America & CSS (Global Division) at McDermott International, Ltd. Since 2021, they have been working as General Counsel (Head of Legal) & Chief Compliance Officer of Lucky Technology Corp. dba Lucky Card at Lucky Card and as a Founding Angel Investor at Vitalize Venture Capital.

Monica Dean, Esq., SHRM-SCP, CAFCA (ACAMS) has an extensive educational background. Monica obtained their Juris Doctor from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, their B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Davis, and studied Computer Science at Spelman College. Additionally, they hold a Certified AML FinTech Compliance Associate certification from ACAMS (obtained in May 2022), a SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM (obtained in August 2020), a California Licensed Real Estate Broker certification from the California Department of Real Estate (obtained in 2012), a License to Practice Law in Nevada from the State Bar of Nevada (obtained in 2009), and a License to Practice Law in California from the State Bar of California (obtained in 2008).
