Jean-Pierre Mastrangelo

Jean-Pierre Mastrangelo has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Their most recent position is as the Head of Data Science at Cardif Pinnacle starting in March 2022. Prior to that, they worked at QBE Europe, where they held the role of Principal Data Scientist from January 2019 to March 2022 and Senior Data Scientist from June 2018 to January 2019. Jean-Pierre also worked as a Data Scientist at BNP Paribas Cardif from May 2017 to June 2018.

Before working in the insurance industry, Jean-Pierre co-founded Kvasir Analysis, a company they were involved in from September 2005 to November 2017. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Nationale-Nederlanden from April 2015 to April 2017.

Jean-Pierre also gained experience as an entrepreneur and freelance consultant in statistics & data mining from November 2004 to July 2005. Prior to that, they held roles as a Project Manager at Mediametrie from March 2004 to October 2004 and an Analyst at TF1 from March 2000 to March 2004. Jean-Pierre started their career as an Assistant Teacher of Mathematics at Lycee Saint Louis from September 1998 to June 1999.

Jean-Pierre Mastrangelo attended Lycee Louis Le Grand from 1989 to 1992. Jean-Pierre then went on to Lycée Saint Louis from 1992 to 1995 for Classes preparatoires. In 1996, they joined ENSAE Paris where they studied for three years. In 1998, they attended Pierre and Marie Curie University and obtained a Diplôme d'Etudes Approfondies in Statistics in 1999.
