Paul Carter

Paul Carter is a seasoned Software Architect with extensive experience in software development and technical architecture across various industries, including Oil & Gas and cloud-based projects. Currently serving at Pinnacle since October 2022, Paul previously held similar roles at Lloyd's Register, where leadership was provided for converting legacy applications, and at Smart421 and Haven Power, where systems integration and enhancement were key focuses. Additional experience includes leading the PARIS team at Maersk Oil, developing applications for Young Light Technologies, and leading teams at IBM for multi-phase projects. Paul’s foundational skills were developed while working as a developer at e-Millennium Ltd, Exit Software, and GDocs. Paul holds a PgDip in Software Development from The Open University and a BSc in Civil Engineering from Heriot-Watt University.
