J.D. C. began their work experience in 2009 as a Sr. Software Engineer at IQNavigator + Beeline, where they worked until 2013. They then joined Pearson in 2013 as a Sr. Machine Learning Engineer and held this role until 2021. Currently, J.D. is working at Pinnacol Assurance as a Sr. API Engineer, starting in October 2021.

J.D. C. holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Wyoming. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications from Pearson: "Pearson Certified Master Innovator" in February 2020 and "Pearson Certified Innovator" in October 2017.
