Michael Gilbert has over 20 years of professional experience in the IT industry. Michael started their career as a Level 3 Technician at Micro Center, where they gained expertise in PC, Mac, printer, and laptop repairs, as well as Windows 3.11 and 95. After working at Micro Center for two years, they joined Pinner Construction Co., Inc. as the Director of IT. In this role, they managed IT services for multiple jobsite locations and acted as a rapid response on-call support contact for various organizations. Since 1999, Michael has been the President of IT Advantage, Inc., where they provide comprehensive IT solutions to small businesses in LA and Orange County, including the installation of various servers, workstations, laptops, and internet access. Michael ensures the smooth operation of businesses by maintaining their systems and promptly resolving any technical issues.
Michael Gilbert completed their education history in a chronological manner. Michael attended Anaheim High School from 1990 to 1992, obtaining a high school diploma. Subsequently, they pursued higher education at Kaplan University from 2006 to 2010, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Business/IT.
In addition to their formal education, Michael Gilbert has obtained several certifications. In August 2010, they earned the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer certification from Microsoft. Following this, in October 2014, they obtained the CCENT certification from Cisco. Continuing their professional development, they achieved the Procore Certified: Associate certification from Procore Technologies in September 2017. Most recently, in August 2020, Michael attained the Procore Certification: Procore Administrator from Procore Technologies.
