Melissa Ragos has a diverse work experience in the arts field. Melissa currently works as an Art Manager at Revolution Events since April 2022. Prior to that, they were an Instructor/Bartender at Pinot's Palette starting in September 2021. From April 2020 to April 2022, Melissa worked at Prism Specialties as a Department Manager and Senior Art Restorer. Melissa'sresponsibilities included overseeing daily operations, performing art restoration, and training technicians.
Before joining Prism Specialties, Melissa worked as a Floater Pre K Teacher and Fine Arts Lead Teacher at Bright Beginnings, Inc. from October 2019 to April 2020. Melissa'srole involved assisting lead classroom teachers, observing students' progress, and communicating with parents.
From September 2017 to October 2019, Melissa worked as an Art Restoration Technician at Art Recovery Technologies (ART). Melissa'sresponsibilities included restoring damaged art, managing inventory, and communicating with clients. Additionally, they worked as an Apprentice for professional sculptor Alma Selimovic from September 2016 to October 2018, assisting in sculpture projects.
Melissa also has experience as a Teaching Artist at Art Works Studio School from November 2014 to September 2017 and as a Freelance Illustrator at The Omnibus Publishing from December 2015 to August 2016. Melissa started their career as an Art Program Intern at Spanish Education Development (SED) Center from September 2014 to May 2015.
Melissa Ragos obtained a Bachelor of Arts - BA degree in Fine and Studio Arts from the University of Maryland, where they studied from 2013 to 2017.
