Nastassja Swift has a diverse work experience in various art-related roles. Nastassja started their career as a Display and Merchandising Intern at Quirk Gallery in 2013. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as the Co Director at Mist Gallery. In 2016, they became a Teaching Assistant at VCU in Qatar and also started their own small business called D for Dolls, where they created and sold handmade dolls online. Nastassja then transitioned to working as an Instructor at Pinot's Palette in 2016 and later at the Visual Arts Center of Richmond in 2018. In 2019, they joined the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts as an Adjunct Faculty member and also worked as a Fine Art Teacher at St. Christopher's School.
Nastassja Swift attended the Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts from 2011 to 2015. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in the field of Painting and Printmaking.
