Mara Berman

Mara Berman has extensive work experience spanning over 25 years. Mara recently joined Pinwheel as a Commercial Counsel in December 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Experian for 15 years. Mara'sroles at Experian included Senior Director, Contracts Counsel, where they led a team responsible for reviewing and negotiating sales and partnership contracts, and Director and Manager, Contracts Counsel roles. Mara also served as a Senior Contracts Counsel, Credit Services Decision Analytics, and a Contracts Counsel, Global Sourcing. Before Experian, Mara worked as a Contracts Attorney at Quest Software. Mara also gained experience at Oracle, where they held the role of Account Executive, Higher Education Sales. Earlier in their career, they were a Manager, Licensing Management Services at PwC. Additionally, Mara worked at Oracle as a Senior Compliance Analyst, where they collaborated with partners to ensure compliance, conducted royalty audits, advised on intellectual property issues, and resolved contract disputes.

Mara Berman holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley. Mara also earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from the University of the Pacific - McGeorge School of Law.
