Johnmark Zachary Bautista

Johnmark Zachary Bautista is an experienced civic organizer and educator with a strong background in promoting ethnic studies and community engagement. Currently serving as a Civic Organizer for Filipino Advocates for Justice, Johnmark follows up on campaign outreach, recruits volunteers, and conducts research to support community events. In addition, Johnmark has been co-teaching Ethnic/Filipinx American Studies at Balboa High School and Skyline College since December 2021, employing the Liberated Ethnic Studies model and mentoring students through challenges. Previous roles include instructional positions, clerical support, and program coordination, complemented by a solid educational foundation with a Master's degree in Asian-American Studies from San Francisco State University.
