Martin Walti

Martin Walti is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the healthcare and engineering sectors. Currently serving as COO at Piomic since May 2018 and freelancing under Martin Walti Engineering, advisory support has been provided on developing innovative healthcare solutions in collaboration with notable partners such as Medela AG and Roche Diagnostics AG. Previously, a sabbatical was undertaken from February to December 2017, following a significant tenure at Medela AG where Martin led the development and product care team for Cardiothoracic and Professional Vacuum Systems from 2009 to February 2017. Additional project management experience at Smith & Nephew Orthopaedics involved the development of knee implants. Martin holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zürich and an MBA from Strathclyde Business School.
