Jason Gray

Jason Gray is the founder and managing general partner at Pioneer Fund. Previously, they were with Y Combinator, SunFarmer, and SunEdison. At SunEdison, they served as the general manager and vice president, overseeing full P&L responsibilities including sales, marketing, finance, construction, and service. Jason successfully grew the P&L from $0 to $325M in annual revenues and captured industry leading 35% market share. Jason also led in the establishment of a 110MW/yr solar panel manufacturing facility in Newmarket, Ontario (joint venture with Flextronics). To date, they have closed transactions totaling over $1B. Jason has also served on the board of directors for WesternOne Inc. from November 2017 to February 2021.

Jason Gray has a S15 from Y Combinator, an MBA in Finance from the University of Calgary, and a BA in Law and Northern Planning and Development Studies from the University of Saskatchewan.
