Ott Tooming

Ott Tooming has extensive experience in the field of front-end development. Ott started their career as a User Interface Developer at Voog in 2015 and worked there until 2017. During this time, they gained valuable experience in user interface development.

In 2017, Ott joined Iglu OÜ as a Front-end Developer and was focused on the Omniva project. Ott was responsible for developing the microservices-based architecture using TypeScript, React, and Redux. Ott also placed a strong emphasis on testing, using Jest/Enzyme, TDD, and visual regression testing.

After their tenure at Iglu OÜ, Ott joined gotoAndPlay in 2018 as a Front-end Developer. Here, they had the privilege to work on the Telia project, where they developed component libraries for reusability across different sub-brands using React and TypeScript. Ott also worked with the team to develop WordPress templates for Endover, a real estate development company in Estonia.

Since 2018, Ott has been working at Pipedrive as a Senior Frontend Developer. In this role, they lead teams in product development, management, operations, and engineering efforts. Ott also focuses on handling service observability, on-call processes, and incident management. Ott builds and uses tools that integrate with Grafana, New Relic, and Graylog to maintain and improve app performance and platform stability. Additionally, Ott conducts technical interviews and evaluations.

Throughout their career, Ott has showcased their expertise in front-end development, particularly in React, TypeScript, and ECMAScript. Ott has also demonstrated strong skills in collaboration, leadership, and problem-solving.

Ott Tooming earned a vocational degree in Multimedium (Web specialist) from Tartu Vocational College from 2014 to 2016. After that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Web Design & Development from Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences / EEK Mainor, completing it from 2016 to 2019. In 2016, Ott also obtained the EUCIP Core Level Certificate from CEPIS.
