Jarkko Ojala

Jarkko Ojala is an established expert in medical physics, currently serving as the Associate Chief Physicist and Quality Manager at Pirkanmaan hyvinvointialue since January 2023, focusing on dose calculation algorithms and advanced treatment techniques, particularly SBRT. Jarkko also holds positions as Education Manager and Associate Professor at Tampere University, where responsibilities include leading Medical Physicist training and participation in national educational committees. With extensive teaching experience at Tampere University of Applied Sciences and Tampere University of Technology, Jarkko has contributed to several courses in radiation safety and clinical physics. Additional engagements include roles as Clinical Auditor for Labquality and Consultant Expert for Eurofins Expert Services Oy.
