Miia Pennanen

Miia Pennanen is a seasoned Human Resources professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Human Resources Director for both Underground Drilling and Rock Drills and Technologies at Sandvik since October 2019, Miia also holds a position as a Board Member at Pirkanmaan Osuuskauppa since January 2024. Prior experience includes roles such as Senior Human Resources Manager at Nokian Tyres plc and HR Manager at Vianor Group and Vianor Oy. Miia's career began in the research sector as a Researcher and Project Manager at the University of Tampere, after which a career in Human Resources commenced. Miia holds a Master of Science degree in International Business from Aalto University, earned between 1997 and 2002.
