Nathan Winstone

Nathan Winstone has extensive work experience in various roles within the financial industry. Most recently, they are the Director of Business Development at Pirum since 2022. Prior to this, Nathan worked at EquiLend from 2020 to 2022 as a Swaps Trading Product Specialist, where they were responsible for the launch and onboarding process of swaps products for clients in Europe and Asia.

Before joining EquiLend, Nathan worked at HSBC from 2008 to 2017. Nathan initially served as a Swaps and Structured Product Trader from 2016 to 2017, managing trading and hedging strategies for EUR and GBP financing books. Nathan also held the position of Co-Head of European Supply Trading from 2011 to 2016, overseeing the implementation of a new global position management system and trade capture infrastructure. Prior to that, Nathan worked as an Equity Finance Sales Trader from 2008 to 2011, responsible for trading and managing various lending books.

Nathan started their career at J.P. Morgan in 2001, where they worked as an Equity Finance Sales Trader and later as a Securities Lending Middle Office Analyst. In these roles, they traded and managed risk for stock lending books and provided daily risk management reporting. Nathan also had experience in equity settlements, settling trades and managing depot positions.

Additionally, Nathan had a brief contract role at Citi in 2000 and started their career in the financial industry as a Cashier at Barclays UK from 1998 to 2000.

Nathan Winstone completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from The University of Sheffield, where they studied from 1997 to 2000. Nathan later pursued a Master of Arts degree in Global History: Empires, States, and Cultures from Birkbeck, University of London, from 2016 to 2018.
