Anna Gaca is a seasoned music editor with extensive experience in writing, editing, and content creation. Currently serving as a Senior Editor at Pitchfork since March 2019, Gaca previously held roles as an Associate Editor at both Pitchfork and Spin, where responsibilities included music news, album reviews, and interviews. Earlier experience includes positions as Assistant Editor and Staff Writer at Gambit Communications Inc., alongside freelance work in music writing and criticism. Gaca's career began as a DJ and Music Director at WTUL New Orleans 91.5 FM, where new music was showcased and relationships with music industry professionals were fostered. Gaca holds a BA in Art History, History, and French from Tulane University.
