Brandon Wu

Brandon Wu is currently a Business Analytics Intern with the Pittsburgh Steelers, and has previously interned with Facebook and IBM. Brandon has also served as a tutor and teaching assistant for the Carnegie Mellon University School of Computer Science.

Brandon Wu began their academic career at Carnegie Mellon University, where they studied computer science. Brandon was a member of the 15-251 course tutoring team and also served as a head teaching assistant for the 15-150 Principles of Functional Programming course. In May 2021, they graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.

After graduation, Brandon Wu began their professional career as a Software Engineer Intern with Facebook. Brandon was part of the Product Security Program Analysis team and worked on Pyre, a tool for statically analyzing "type" errors in Python programs, specifically with respect to tensor shape mismatches. In September 2021, they left Facebook to begin their internship with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Brandon Wu attended Enloe High School and then Carnegie Mellon University, where they earned a Bachelors in Computer Science.

Brandon Wu reports to Dan Rooney, Director, Business Development & Strategy. They work with Nick Clifford - Digital Analyst, Jared Kramer - Data Analyst.
