Stephen Finerty is the Video Production Manager at the Pittsburgh Steelers. Stephen has over 15 years of experience in video production and editing, including work with major league sports teams and broadcast television.
Before joining the Steelers, Stephen was the Media Manager for the 2012 NCAA Tournament in Pittsburgh. In this role, they were responsible for receiving, transcoding, encoding, and organizing all media assets used by the tournament staff.
Prior to their work with the NCAA, Stephen spent 9 years as the Director of Production Operations for the Pittsburgh Penguins. In this role, they oversaw all aspects of video production for the team, including game broadcasts and special event coverage.
Stephen began their career in 2001 as a Video Producer/Editor at KDKA-TV in Pittsburgh. Stephen worked on a variety of local and national programming, including news, sports, and entertainment shows. Stephen has won several awards for their work in television, including an Emmy Award for their editing work on a news series about the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
Stephen Finerty's educational career includes a BA in Communications from Robert Morris University.
