Kim Chestney has a strong background in fostering creativity and intuition through their various roles. Kim is the Founder of Intuition Lab, Mystic Studios, and has worked as an Author for New World Library and Simon & Schuster UK. Additionally, they have been involved in advisory roles at Americans for the Arts and as a member of the Creative Economy Coalition. At Pittsburgh Technology Council, Kim served as the Founding Director of CREATE! Festival, Co-CREATE Business Ignition Program, and The Creative Industries Network. Furthermore, they held the role of Creative Director at TEQ Magazine. Kim has also directed the Art + Technology Initiative at Carnegie Mellon University, where they laid the foundation for the art and innovation community in Pittsburgh.
Kim Chestney attended the University of Hull from 1992 to 1993, where they studied Art, Design, Literature, Writing, Philosophy, and Metaphysics. Kim later pursued Creative Writing at Franklin & Marshall College and obtained a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Fine Art and English from Millersville University of Pennsylvania. Kim also studied Design and Applied Arts at The Art Institute and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Comparative Religion from the University of Metaphysics.
