Susan Rivard

Susan Rivard is an experienced educational professional with a career spanning over five decades. Currently serving as an administrative coach at Pivot Learning Partners since 2007, Rivard has focused on coaching principals in leadership training, fostering data-driven decision-making, and enhancing student engagement. Prior to this role, Rivard was an elementary school administrator at Friends of Long Beach Animals within Long Beach Unified School District from 1980 to 2007, where collaborative efforts led to the establishment of a National Blue Ribbon School and a California Distinguished School. Rivard’s teaching career began in 1967 at Long Beach Unified School District, following the completion of a Bachelor's degree in K-12 Teaching Credential and a Master's degree in Education Administration from California State University, Long Beach.
