Gagik Vardanyan

Gagik Vardanyan is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in developing advanced software solutions. Currently employed at Pix4D since May 2022, Gagik focuses on drone-mapping and photogrammetry using C++. Prior to this role, Gagik served as Lead Software Developer at ILL - Institut Laue Langevin, where significant contributions included recruiting and leading a team in developing neutron scattering data reduction software, Mantid, utilizing both C++ and Python. Gagik's background also encompasses research at CERN as a Doctoral Student, analyzing proton-proton collision data, and internships where Gagik engaged in particle physics data analysis and Monte-Carlo simulations. Gagik's academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Computer Science from Grenoble INP - UGA and a PhD in Particle Physics from YerPHI and CERN.
