Miguel L.

Miguel L. has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Principal Engineer at Pixelmatters, where they have been since March 2023. Before that, they worked as a Team Lead at the same company from July 2022 to March 2023 and as a Frontend Developer from April 2021 to July 2022.

Prior to their time at Pixelmatters, Miguel worked at Sensormatic as a Frontend Developer for four years, from September 2017 to April 2021.

Their longest tenure was at Pentaho, A Hitachi Group Company, where they worked as a Frontend Developer for five years, from September 2012 to August 2017. In this role, they contributed to the implementation of numerous Business Intelligence Dashboards and the development of multiple websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap. Miguel also collaborated with designers and developers from Portugal and the US, working for clients worldwide.

Before their corporate experience, Miguel worked as a Freelancer, serving as both a Web Designer and Web Developer from September 2011 to September 2012.

Miguel L. obtained a Licentiate degree in Novas Tecnologias da Comunicação from Universidade de Aveiro, from 2008 to 2011. In addition, they received a certification in Agile Training from Johnson Controls in December 2017.
