Mike Oberdick

Mike Oberdick has a long and varied work experience. Mike began their career in 2003 as a Pre-Teen Summer Program Supervisor for Middlebury Parks & Recreation. In 2004, they became a Classroom Teacher for New Haven & Seymour Public Schools. From 2005 to 2010, they were the Boys Basketball Head Coach for Seymour Middle School. In 2011, they took on the role of Technology Integration Teacher for Seymour Board of Education, where they worked with teachers in the classroom to assist in the integration of technology from planning to implementation of the lesson, and offered workshops on a variety of topics. In 2016, they became a Front End Web Developer for KnockMedia, and in 2018 they took on the role of Lead Web Developer for Pixelstrike Creative LLC. Currently, they are the Owner of Designs 4 The Web.

Mike Oberdick has a diverse educational background. Mike completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Southern Connecticut State University in 2002 and a Masters of Science in Secondary Education and Teaching from the University of New Haven in 2005. Mike also holds several certifications, including a Google Apps for Education Certified Teacher from Google (2013), a SMART Certified Interactive Teacher from SMART Technologies (2012), a CT Coaching Certificate (600) from the Connecticut State Department of Education (2005), and a CT 7-12 Secondary Educator (026) from the Connecticut State Department of Education (2004).
