Pratish Desai

Pratish Desai has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Pratish is currently serving as the Sr. Director of Media Technology at Pixelworks since April 2017. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Software Development at Nixie Labs from August 2016 to March 2017. Pratish also worked as a Management Consultant at Self from April 2016 to July 2016. Pratish held the position of Sr. Director of Engineering and Product Management at Inforce Computing from August 2014 to March 2016. Before that, they worked as a Technical & Engineering Manager and Entrepreneur at Self from January 2014 to July 2014. Pratish has also gained valuable experience working at ST Microelectronics as an R&D Director for the DCG group from May 2008 to December 2013. Pratish served as the Sr. Director of Engineering and Tech Management at Genesis Microchip from April 2002 to April 2008. Pratish also held key roles at VM Labs, Thomson Multimedia, and Digital Logging earlier in their career.

Pratish Desai completed their Bachelor of Electronics at M.S. University from 1983 to 1988. Pratish then pursued a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) specializing in DSP, Neural Networks, and Pattern Recognition at the University of Houston from 1988 to 1991.
