Savannah Franklin is Chief Legal Officer for Pizza Hut U.S. with a primary focus on providing strategic legal guidance and support to facilitate critical business initiatives spanning from franchise system governance to major technology implementations as well as crisis management. Prior to joining Pizza Hut U.S., Savannah was an associate in the Investment Funds practice group at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP. At Akin Gump, Savannah advised both established and emerging managers in the organization and ongoing operations of domestic and international private investment funds.
Savannah received her B.S. from Evangel University and her J.D. from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. In addition to her legal work, Savannah has a passion for helping children and proudly serves on the Board of Directors for Jonathan’s Place, a non-profit that helps provide a safe place for abused and neglected children and teens in North Texas, where she also recently co-chaired the wildly successful 2022 “Be the Tie” fundraising luncheon. Savannah currently resides in Dallas with her husband, Travis, and their two rambunctious sons, Luke (4) and Tyler (11 months). Their interests include musical theater, eating pizza, going to the Dallas Zoo, learning to play tennis and avidly following Dallas sports.
