Gil Cooper

Gil Cooper is an accomplished R&D Director with extensive experience in leading engineering teams and developing communication platforms. Since October 2019, Gil has been with Placer.ai, overseeing multiple backend and front-end teams. Prior to that, between July 2016 and August 2019, Gil served as R&D Director at OptimalPlus, managing approximately 30 developers and test engineers. At Jajah, a Telefonica company from May 2011 to 2016, Gil excelled as Development Group Manager, successfully delivering PaaS solutions to numerous Telco customers. Gil's background also includes a role as Backend Team Leader at Jajah from January 2008 to May 2011, and as Software Team Lead at Skylow, along with experience as a backend C# developer at Netwise. Gil holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The College of Management Academic Studies, earned between 2002 and 2005.
