Michael Delatin

Michael DeLatin is an experienced Automation Engineer currently employed at Placid Refining Company LLC since February 2023, responsible for the maintenance of DCSes and PLCs onsite. Prior to this role, Michael worked at Champion Technology Services from April 2015 to January 2023, where responsibilities included configuring and troubleshooting DCSes and PLCs in various industrial environments, overseeing automation projects from planning through commissioning. Earlier experience includes a position as a Systems Engineer at Kongsberg Maritime from June 2011 to April 2015, where international travel involved troubleshooting technical issues with dynamic positioning and offshore automation systems. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana State University, completed in 2011.
