Dr. Guy Le Vaillant serves as the Deputy Superintendent of Plainedge School District since 2013, overseeing a team of 750 employees within a Pre-K to 12 public school system that educates approximately 3,000 students and operates with an annual budget of around $110 million. Prior to this role, Dr. Le Vaillant held various positions in Uniondale UFSD, including Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources & Technology and Director of Technology, and was also the Principal of Cornelius Court School. Dr. Le Vaillant's previous experience includes leadership roles in instructional technology and district technology services across multiple school districts, starting from 1985. Academic credentials include a Doctorate in Educational Administration, Leadership, and Technology from Dowling College, along with a Professional Diploma in School District Administration, a Master's degree from Stony Brook University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Hofstra University. Additionally, Dr. Le Vaillant has a Certificate in Negotiations, Conflict Resolution, and Mediation from Harvard University.
